[Well, he wasn't expecting to leave for a short period of time, but here he was... It hadn't been long, but he can't help but worry for the farm, and what the children might be up to since he's been gone. Honestly, he feels a bit bad, like he let them down or something, even if it wasn't his intention to leave to begin with. Still, here he is, standing at the outskirts of the farm. His hand brushing through his hair as he examines the farm.
Funny enough, it's still completely intact. Every animal is around still, and his crops look like they've been taken care of. Which makes him wonder... Who took care of the farm while he was gone? He's quite pleasantly surprise, expecting it to be in disarray when he returned, but he finds himself simply astonished. His hand rubbing his chin, as he sits on a pile of hay. His eyes darting back and forth, as the animals begin to surround him, recognizing him as their mother and his return.]
[Who has been looking after the farm, indeed. Closer inspection might betray two city kids' wild guesses with how to handle some of these farming tasks, but for the most part, Shinji and Kotone have done an alright job. And since part of that alright job is kind of full time, they've also definitely moved into Astralin's house while he's away.
Yes, he'd offered. But then he'd mysteriously disappeared (the second person Shinji has somehow gotten close to here, already, he wasn't expecting the mysterious disappearances so soon—) and it still feels... awkward... to live in a person's house while they're not around. Which is all to say that Shinji has been sleeping on the couch, and just putting up with the vaguely sore back that's been giving him, because of course he would do this. That's the main reason he's not quick enough to grab star chicken Scramble as she darts off to join the other animals surrounding Astralin, and so here comes Shinji bringing up the rear of the procession, looking faintly harrowed about this bird.]
Come back here, you didn't eat anything— [But oh, hold on, that's Astralin there, when he looks up from chicken antics. Just sitting there, like he didn't disappear at all... ah. Shinji stares at him for a moment before he has to look down again, squinting hard lest he do something embarrassing like show an emotion, mmph-] ....You're back.
[Honestly, he's utterly shocked the farm is still standing. None the less, he awoke back here, and honestly... Has no memory of what happened. He just remembers sleeping for a really long time, and then he woke up. Still, he doesn't think on it too much, and he simply curves his lips into a smile upon seeing Shinji reach for Scramble. Quite the troublemaker this one was, and he's glad that nothing has changed after his very long, and extensive nap.]
... Yes. I just woke up. I apologize... If I left you far too much work to do. Is everything alright?
[He brushes some of his hair back, and reaches down to pet Scramble with a soft smile. Slowly reaching out for the chicken now, and wrapping his arms around the chicken with ease. Finally taking a step forward, reaching out to actually pat Shinji's head.]
FINALLY HERE IT IS
