[Ohhh my godddd, this dog... Shinji takes the little Koromaru as gently as he possibly can, holding it in both hands. Not going to melt doesn't mean it won't shatter if he drops it, and since this is both the cutest thing after the real thing and something made for him... Well! Well, no one could blame him for just staring at it for a lengthy beat, caught somewhere between touched and impressed.
